2014 Dress In Blue Day

Walgreens Deerfield

Thank you for those of you who joined us and wore blue on our first ever DRESS IN BLUE DAY last Friday, March 7th.

Help us continue to spread the word during March, Colon Cancer Awareness Month, that colon cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable by supporting other March fundraising events.

  • Join us for our Saint Patrick’s Day green carnation sale Monday, March 17 from 11:30am-1:00pm in the 200 Wilmot Rd Cafe.
  • We also have another Jeans Day next Friday, March 21. To participate, purchase a $5 Jeans Day sticker at the 200 Wilmot corporate store or email tracey.goldstein@walgreens.com for a contact in your building.

All proceeds will go to the Colon Cancer Alliance to fund patient support programs and grow awareness and research programs. You can also donate on this page as well (click on the link in the upper right of page ).

Colon cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States and the second leading cause of cancer death. But it doesn't have to be this way; through screening, it is one of the most preventable diseases.  We are raising funds, promoting screening and honoring those affected by colon cancer.

Thank you for helping knock colon cancer out of the top three cancer killers and Be Well!
