During National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month this March, our team will be raising funds, promoting awareness and honoring those affected by colon cancer.

Please join my team or make a contribution today. Your support will benefit the CCA?s mission and their screening, patient support and research programs and help bring us one step closer to future free of colon cancer.

People get colon cancer and don?t always know it.  Some people are not aware of symptoms which signal they should see a doctor.  Others are not aware of cancers or other family illnesses or conditions which should be taken into consideration when choosing to get screened (often earlier than the recommended time frame).  When these actions aren't taken, people are not aware of their cancer in time to receive treatment which will cure or put their cancer into remission.  I lost my best friend to colon cancer February 2012.  In promoting colon cancer awareness I hope that family, friends and individuals will be more proactive with screenings, treatment and support.  And that those who do get colon cancer will be treated and live longer productive lives.
