Our mom, Kathy Hoose, was diagnosed with colon cancer at the beginning of 2008. That January she underwent surgery and throughout 2008 she went through chemotherapy. By Thanksgiving the cancer had spread to her liver. Mom was an amazingly strong woman and a fighter through more surgery, more chemo and more radation, she kept fighting. A little over five years ago, we lost Mom on March 23rd 2010. We miss her every day and wish she was here to help encourage us, hug us, see our family grow and much more.
Once again, we will be participating in the Undy Run/Walk in Dallas again this year. We have been running/walking the Dallas Undy Run to fundraise, increase awareness and to support those fighting Colon Cancer in Mom's honor.
As always we appreciate your support, love, and prayers!

The Undy Run/Walk is a 5K run/walk created by the Colon Cancer Alliance(CCA) in 2008. We get to run in our undies (boxers!) and help raise money for and awareness about colon cancer. As many of you know, Mom had colon cancer, so this race holds a special place in all of our hearts. We are very excited to do this for her and to help out others who are fighting hard! We are working to gather donations to meet our goals. If you could help support us it would be greatly appreciated!
Your tax-deductible gift will help the CCA with patient support, education, screening, research and much more! Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated by so many people.
