Welcome to my fight for my dad, Ron Luketic!
In 2005, my father was diagnosed with colon cancer. After a successful surgery, he was given a good prognosis. Last year the colon tumors came back and it was discovered that it has spread to his liver. He is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy every 10 days. He is doing his best to fight this disease and keep a positive attitude.
It is difficult to put into words what he means to me and feeling helpless in his fight I wanted to do something, anything to help find a cure so no other daughter may lose their dad to this monster.
I am participating in the Grand Rapids Undy 5000 on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at East Grand Rapids High School.
