I am forwarding the link to this years Undy 5000. I am organizing a team to help create awareness for colorectal cancer & raise money. If you are interested in participating on my team or donating to this cause or know others who might be, please let me know.
As many of you already know, in December 2006, I was diagnosed with stage III, rectal cancer. This April will mark 3 years that I will be cancer free! This will be a real milestone for me personally, as the chances of a recurrence,often will be in the first 2-3 years. I recently had a CT scan & met with my oncologist. All looks good & he is very optimistic about my future.
You all provided such support & love during this very difficult time for me. I want to once again thank you. In the past few years, I have tried to give back by speaking tothe community & local medical students, hoping to create an awareness that this cancer can happen to younger people, as well.
