Why is fundraising important?
The Undy 5000 is the Colon Cancer Alliance’s signature fundraising event
and is an important revenue source for furthering its mission to provide hope and support to patients and their
families, while saving lives through prevention and research. Money raised through the Undy 5000 supports:
Community Health Partnership Grant Program CCA funds local Community Health Partners in Undy 5000 cities who provide services that promote screening access, provide access to treatment, and/or conduct research that advances quality of life concerns and addresses barriers to screening. Learn more about our current partners.
Colon Cancer Alliance Event proceeds are critical
to CCA's ability to provide its free educational and support tools and
help fund advocacy, research and patient services such as our toll-free helpline, educational webinars and seminars, the Buddy Program and the Blue Note Fund.To learn more about our programs and expenses, read the 2012 Annual Report.
What motivates you? Check out the Undy 5000 Blog to read personal stories about what motivates these participants to fundraise.
