What other ways can I make a donation other than using the link from the email?
You can download one of the mail in donation forms listed below to donate by mail, or you can visit the Undy 5000 website and click on the Donate button.

If I donate by mail, who do I make the check out to and where do I send it?

Can I make a cash donation?
Yes, we are happy to accept cash at the event. We discourage sending cash in the mail.

Can I donate over the phone?
No, we can only accept online donations and mail-in donations.

Is my donation tax deductable?
Yes.

How can I get a receipt for my donation?
If you donate online, you should print your email receipt and save it for your records. If you send in a donation by mail, a receipt will be mailed back to you AFTER the event.

How do I make a donation online to a specific participant?
Visit the Undy 5000 website and click the "Support a Walker" option under Donate. Then search for a participant and select his/her name from the search results, which will take you to that participant’s page. On the participant’s page, look for the “Click to Donate to (Name)” button by the thermometer.

How do I make a donation online to a team?
Visit the Undy 5000 website  and click the "Support a Walker" option under Donate. You can click the “Search for a Team” option and enter the team’s name, OR you can use the “Search for a Participant” option and enter a team member’s name. If you use the “Search for a Participant” option, click on the team name, which will appear next to the participant’s name in the search results. On the team’s page, look for the “Click to Donate to (Team Name)” button by the thermometer.

Can a donation be split among team members?
You can donate to the team (see above), or you can make separate donations to multiple team members.

What do I do if my donation went to a team when I intended it for a specific participant?
Send an email to undy5000@ccalliance.org or call us at 202-628-0123 and we will fix it.

Can I still make a donation to a team/participant if the Undy 5000 has already happened?
Yes! We gladly accept donations even after the Undy event is over.
