Why should I create a webpage?
By creating a Dress in
Blue Day webpage, you’ll be able to get access to free resources as well as
start your own fundraising page. Through Dress in Blue Day fundraising, you’ll
be supporting the Colon Cancer Alliance’s (CCA) mission and lifesaving
screening, patient support and research programs. Learn
more about where the money goes.
Does it cost anything to set up a webpage? Is there a fundraising minimum?
It does not cost anything to set up a webpage, and there is
no fundraising minimum. By default, all webpages are setup with a fundraising
goal of $500, but you can easily change this
when you register for your page.
Can I sign up if I’ve never done an online fundraiser before?
Of course, and we’ve made it easy for anyone to set up a
page and get started with easy-to-use tools and tips! And you can always
contact us if you have any questions or problems.
What should I do once I’ve created my webpage?
Once you’ve set up your webpage, you can begin fundraising right
away!
We recommend that you start by sending emails to all your contacts, asking them to support you and letting them know why you care about this cause. Then check out our fundraising tips for other ways to start spreading the word about your goals by using our free templates, including Facebook posts, email templates and sample media alerts and press releases.
What’s the difference between signing up a webpage as an individual and signing
up as a team?
When you join a team, you can pair up with your friends, family, or coworkers to try to raise the most money together! Team members can easily communicate with one another to plan events, share tips, and collaborate. Enjoy a little friendly competition, all for a great cause!
