Help Our PSA Go Viral!
If you haven't shared our 2011 PSA with your friends and family yet, what are you waiting for? Our favorite stick figure makes a shocking discovery when he realizes that he has relatives who had polyps and colon cancer, which increases his risk of developing the disease. Do you know YOUR history? Do your friends know theirs?
Please help us get more families talking about colon cancer. Share the video on Facebook or post on your website or blog.

May is National Cancer Research Month
As more of us are realizing the importance of screening and learning about our family history, colon cancer is more treatable and preventable than ever. But, still, so much needs to be done. Research is imperative to find new ways to prevent and cure cancer. New drugs and therapies discovered and tested through clinical trials are changing the way we approach cancer treatment.
The CCA has recently launched the free and confidential Clinical Trials Matching Service to help you find the trial that is right for you. You can learn more about clinical trials at our website.
Help us fund important colon cancer research efforts by making a tax-deductible donation.
Profiles in Courage
Janet has been a CCA Buddy for years after being diagnosed in 2006 at age 63 with Stage II rectal cancer. Although the diagnosis dramatically altered the lives of her and her husband, her experience now allows her to help many patients deal with their temporary ileostomies, managing their reversals, and adjusting to a “new normal” of bowel habits. We are grateful for her time and dedication to supporting newly diagnosed folks and her support on our online community, My CRC Connections.
