Record-Breaking Awareness Month! 

We were thrilled to see so many people recognizing March as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month this year. Our website received over 80,000 visitors and our Helpline had over 700 calls. We were featured on Dulcolax packaging in retailers across America, and highlighted in hundreds of media articles which ran in 44 million newspapers! We were also proud to partner with fashion designer Carmen Marc Valvo and CBS Healthwatch to spread our message nationwide.

Blue Note Fund & Stars Go Blue a Rockin' Success!

Thanks to your support, the Blue Note Fund has awarded $31,000 in financial grants to 104 families! In addition, on March 16, the Stars Go Blue Benefit Concert raised over $41,000 for the Blue Note Fund. We were proud to give the Fund's co-creator Charlie Kelley our 2011 Visionary Award. "Go Shiny to Save a Hiney" Fundraising Spotlight

Five male physicians at Gastroenterology Associates, PC (GAPC) in Virginia held a competition titled "Go Shiny to Save a Hiney" to raise money and awareness for colon cancer. Patients and staff voted for the doctor they’d most like to see shave his head and “go shiny.” GAPC matched the funds collected for an impressive $4,000 raised overall!
