Fashion Forward - Get Screened!
During Colon Cancer
Awareness Month, the makers of Dulcolax® products, a trusted source of relief from constipation and intestinal irregularity, and the CCA have teamed up with American
fashion designer Carmen Marc Valvo to show Americans that it’s “fashionable”
to get screened. A colon cancer survivor, Carmen is committed to raising awareness about the disease and the importance for
all men and women 50+ to get screened. In addition, Carmen is donating
proceeds from his new book, Dressed to
Perfection: The Art of Dressing for Your Red Carpet Moments, to support
colon cancer research. Click here to read
the press release.
 Bid on a fabulous
blue gown from Carmen’s Black Label collection, up for auction to benefit
the CCA.
Purchase a limited edition women’s
t-shirt, designed by Carmen and available only through the CCA.

Tell Your Doctor, "Screen My Colon!"

Is Your State Making the Grade?
The 2011
Colorectal Cancer Legislative Report Card
has been released and the news is not good. While we applaud the efforts of Hawaii, which passed new legislation in
2010 mandating insurance coverage for lifesaving colorectal cancer screenings;
only two states have improved their grade in the past two years– the slowest
progress we have seen. At a time when we know how important colorectal cancer
screenings are to saving lives, 17 states still receive failing grades this
year.
