Happy Father's Day!
We're kicking off Father's Day week by posting stories and honoring fathers on our Facebook page. Check back each day for an article of inspiration and help us celebrate the amazing men we've had in our lives!
We know this can be a tough time for many in our community. We're here if you need a little extra support - call us our free Helpline at (877) 422-2030 or jump into our chat room at My CCA Support.

Shaving Heads to Save Lives
“I'm excited to speak at the CCA National
Conference; I want to leave participants with a new take on advocacy and
nontraditional methods for spreading the message. Everyone has a job to do
and...well, let’s save the rest for the conference!”
We’re proud to introduce our National
Conference’s Keynote Speaker, Rodrick Samuels. Rodrick is cutting through
the unease surrounding colon cancer by spearheading the Shop Talk Movement, a campaign
encouraging barbers and beauticians to start conversations about colon cancer
while cutting their client’s hair. Rodrick is just one of the many ways
attendees like you are going to get empowered, get informed and get ready to
transform communities this fall. Register

Heroes of the Month
Our Hero of the Month features inspiring individuals who are going above and beyond in the fight against colon cancer. This month we are honoring Mike Tabtabai and Drew Hudon from Leave it on the Road.
On June 17th, Mike and Drew will set out on Leave it on the Road, a 3,500 bike ride across the country. In just 24 days, they plan to journey from Oregon to Massachusetts, raising money and awareness for the Colon Cancer Alliance and Colon Club along the way.
"The rides and the message have grown since [I started], but the basic principles have remained the same: push myself to my physical limits to get people’s attention and tell a story that needs to be heard."
Read their inspiring story and follow along on Facebook and Instagram.
