We are extremely proud to partner with renowned actor and inspiring colon cancer advocate Terrence Howard on this powerful new PSA for National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Our Helpline has already spoken with a man who used this PSA to ask his wife to get screened, telling her, "Don't make our son say this!"

National CRC Awareness Month: We’re Just Getting Started!

Are you as excited about this month as we are? It’s been a full two weeks – and we’re not done yet! We rang in National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month with NASDAQ and Times Square, we’re still receiving photos and emails from National Dress in Blue Day, and we stripped down for two Undy 5000 5K races. Thank you to everyone who helped make these events such a success and put colon cancer in the national spotlight!

With half the month still ahead, we have more coming up. Don’t miss out! Here are just a few suggestions:

We Need Your Voice: Congressional Call-In

Our community recently celebrated a huge victory with private insurers closing the screening loophole. Be a part of getting Medicare to remove copays as well! Join this multi-organizational effort on Wednesday, March 20th for the United Behind a Cure Congressional Call-In. Make your voice heard with advocates from around the country. All it takes is one minute on the phone. Tell your representative that you support a bill in Congress that would cut out copays for screening colonoscopies when polyps are removed.

Hero of the Month

Our new Hero of the Month feature highlights inspiring individuals who are going above and beyond in the fight against colon cancer. This month's hero is not only a survivor with an amazing story, but also our top Dress in Blue Day fundraiser!

Kris Saim, also known as #TeamKris, has recently become quite the activist, rallying his community to join his fight with creative outreach and fun activities. His efforts are driven with so much passion and commitment, Kris has landed the spot as our #1 team and individual Dress in Blue Day fundraiser - and he intends to stay there!

We’re truly inspired by the way Kris has enhanced our mission and his own life and are thrilled to honor him as our March Hero of the Month. Read Kris's story.
