Watch Now: What You Can Do to Prevent Colon Cancer

Many people don't realize that colon cancer is largely preventable with recommended screening. February is National Cancer Prevention Month, and leading into March, there’s no better time to share how easy it is to reduce your risk and
keep your colon healthy.
Watch Dr. Tim Byers explain what you can do to be proactive about your health and prevent colon cancer.
Five Easy Ways to Go Blue

Friday, March 1st. With less than a month to go, now’s the time to start
finalizing your Dress in Blue Day and
March plans! Here are five easy ways to show your support in addition to wearing blue:
1. Share why you'll be blue with "I'm Blue For" t-shirts
2. Replace your Facebook profile picture using our new social media tools
3. Start fundraising with your own webpage
4. Spread the word with free resources
5. Add your event to the Blue Star Calendar

Alan Jackson to Play Sold-Out Show to Support Patients
We're thrilled to announce another partnership with country music legend Alan Jackson. Jackson will be headlining our sold-out 5th annual Stars Go Blue Benefit Concert on March 20th at the historic Ryman Auditorium. The evening will benefit our Blue Note Fund to help colon cancer patients in need. Thanks to sales of his book, Seasons of Sweetbriar, Alan has already contributed more than $23,000 to the program. We sincerely thank Alan and his wife, Denise, a colon cancer survivor, for their ongoing generosity.

Would You "LIKE" to Donate?
To
pump up the volume on colon cancer conversations, we recently partnered with La Peer Health Systems of Los Angeles for
a fun and quirky social media campaign. For every new “like” on their Facebook page in
December, they pledged to donate $5. The result? $2,000 donated to the CCA’s mission!
Thank you to La Peer Health for your dedication and generosity and to the 400
of YOU who contributed to this campaign by “liking!”
