Website Features New Screening Test Information
 Moving into 2013,
we’re focusing all our efforts on getting the word out that screening saves lives.
As part of this resolution, we’ve revamped the screening methods
section of our website. We’ve created these new pages to be a powerful
resource for understanding the basics of colon cancer screening, how each
method works and which test is right for you, including tips and tricks from the experts and personal stories. Check out all of the new
information we dug up and learn how you can take the first steps to reduce your
chances of colon cancer!

New Colonoscopy App Available
Have friends who are still dragging their feet and refusing to get that
colonoscopy? No more excuses! The CCA has worked with Ferring
Pharmaceuticals to create a new free app that explains what to expect
before, during and after the exam and why this life-saving test is so
important. Download Colonoscopy Guide: What to Expect today to use these helpful, interactive tools, including a prep planner and prep rating tool. This app is
available exclusively through the iTunes store.

Legislative Spotlight
H.R. 4120: Thank You For Your Support
 Thank you to everyone who has taken action on H.R. 4120, the “Removing
Barriers to Colon Cancer Screening Act.” This bill would ensure that all colon cancer screening tests are covered by Medicare. With your support, we've had more than
1,100 advocates sign on to this alert and 45 cosponsors agree to back this bill.
