Hero of the Month
At 33 years old, Marty Andrews demanded his doctor send him
to a specialist. After a colonoscopy, he was diagnosed with stage III colon
cancer. Since then, Marty has gotten involved as a volunteer and advocate and
has touched many lives by sharing his story along the way.
“I am at a point in life where I do not think of being a
cancer survivor every day. Telling my story reminds me to not take anything for
granted and that each and every day is a gift.” Read Marty’s story.
