Stars Go Blue 2012 |
|
A benefit for the Colon Cancer Alliance’s Blue Note Fund The 4th Annual Stars Go Blue event, held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, was a smashing success! More than $45,000 was raised to support the Colon Cancer Alliance and colon cancer patients in need. Thank you to our generous sponsors, donors and to all who attended. Exile headlined the event at the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Ford Theater. Trace Adkins made a special appearence for a performance of the band's iconic it, “Kiss You All Over,” and Wade Hayes joined the group for their hit, “Super Love.” Hayes, who is currently undergoing treatment for stage IV colon cancer, received a standing ovation before chatting with the crowd honestly and emotionally about his diagnosis, treatment and the importance of screenings.
